Campaign data

Campaign information may not always be 100% accurate for every related package.

Campaign description

In this campaign, one package (iterquarry) holds an encrypted payload, while another one (libseal) provides algorithms to decrypt and execute it. In earlier versions, the code used an embedded key and the payload was contacting a Discord bot. Starting with iterquarry 2.2.0, the key to the encrypted payload is not embedded and the payload remains unknown.

See more details on the campaign page.

action-hidden-in-lib-usage

The malicious action is hidden in the code and starts when user interacts with it (e.g. during class initialization or by exfiltrating given credentials).

obfuscation

Code uses obfuscation techniques to hide its true purpose.

through_dependency

The malicious code is intentionally included in a dependency of the package
